Server not running anymore

Troubleshooting

Receiving emails:
* I don´t get any emails from WOE-server. No register information and nothing.
Solution:
Check your anti-spam filter setups, server (or I) send emails only from two possible email addresses:
* woe_email@warofenlightenment.com
* pay@warofenlightenment.com (only if you pay, very rare)
OR
You typed wrong email address for your personal information.

Server doesn´t spam anyone, but server computer has different ip address than @warofenlightenment.com domain, that´s why some anti-spam filters may delete the mail.

Game client:
* Client crashes during loading a game file, or you cannot see top-left minimap... and you own old graphics card as voodoo3, voodoo5...
Solution:
WOE doesn´t support voodoo cardrs, but may work with other old cards if you turn Advanced top-left minimap off (from options -> map options 2). It will make loading of gamefile slower.

* Game crashes when starting a game or loading new game file and I have a new graphics card:
Solution:
Get and install latest drivers for graphics card and try again. (This is helped in some cases).

* If you get an error "d3d9.dll is missing", you have no Directx9 (or later.
Solution:
Please install Directx9, you can install it from windows update or www pages of microsoft.

Automatic messages and game file checker:

* If you get an error: ´mscoree.dll could not be found´ or ´0xc0000135´ while starting a program.
Solution:
It means that your windows have no framework .net installed. Please install framework .net from windows update.

WOE-client doesn´t need framework .net, but this automatic messages and gamefiles checker does.
