A. Yes, Game files are very small in this game, only 150-250k bytes, and you do not need to be online all the time. You need to be online only when you are receiving turn or Messages from the server, or when you are sending your turn or Messages to server. You can make orders for the current turn offline, and then connect to the server when you are ready to send or receive turn or Messages. So if you can Download the free War of enlightenment client, you can play the game.
Q. How long does one multi player game take in War of enlightenment?
A. It depends, if you survive to end, 60-100 turns, which means if play 7 turns per week game, it takes about 2-3 months. If you don´t survive and other players kills your nation, your game might end in few weeks.
Q. Is multi player gaming free?
A. Yes, multi player gaming is free with all Nations.
Q. Is single player gaming free?
A. Yes, if you just play as Austria in single player game.
A. No, if you want play any other nation in single player game.
Q. Why the server shows sometimes that there is 17 players joined into next game, and after some time it may show 15 players joined into next game?
A. Sometimes some people joins into multi player games to both games styles, three turns per week and seven turns per week games and then they don´t start playing the game, so I remove their usernames from joining list of multi player games, if I feel that the person doesn´t play.
For example, if player joins into both game styles, if three turns per week game starts first, but player doesn´t start playing in the game, and I notice this before seven turns per week game starts. I might remove player´s username from joining list for seven turn per week game. Because, if the player doesn´t play the game, there is no point to keep username on joining list.
This is just one of my ways to upkeep good quality games. It´s not always possible to notice, who is not playing, because I must be absolute sure that the player doesn´t start playing before I remove any usernames from joining list. But sometimes players don´t know, that this game doesn´t start at the same moment they join into game.
Q. Can I join to both multi player game styles?
A. Yes, of course, and you can play unlimited number of games.
